- Education
Master of Physician Assistant Studies, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
Cornelius was born in Romania but raised in New Hampshire. After receiving his BA in psychology from SNHU, he went back to complete his master’s in physician assistant studies at MCPHS. Cornelius began his oncology career at NHOH. Although initially trained as a generalist, he now primarily focuses on malignancies of the G.I tract, head & neck, and lung.
While in school, his grandfather was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. This prompted him to pivot the direction of his studies and focus on oncology, in the hopes that he could provide more care, knowledge and comfort to his grandfather during that difficult time. In honor of him, Cornelius continues to care for cancer patients and hopes to bring any bit of positivity in a field of full of challenges.
Cornelius is a diehard Manchester United supporter. Along with soccer, he also enjoys golf, tennis, football, Star Wars, traveling, fitness, and mother nature. He lives in Southern Maine with his beautiful wife and 2 cats.
